While wind energy and electric vehicles powered by rechargeable lithium batteries are marketed as ecological and good for cleaning up environment, the opposite is true.

The safety of battery powered vehicles is another matter for HUGE concern. You do not have to own an EV to get burned down in a fire that your neighbor’s EV has caused while you were all sound asleep. These things are known to explode without being driven.

the fact that anyone refers to one of these as
"electric" cars is laughable . They are Battery Operated Vehicles , which use ELECTRICITY from burning fuel at a power plant to operate . They may not have a tailpipe emitting fumes , but the ELECTRIC POWER PLANT sure does!!! That's not even touching on the power it takes to make the batteries, and the TOXIC WASTE that they become when they are no longer usable

Idk, to me it seems that the crowd that has money for EVs and is willing to buy them, is THE problematic, mask wearing part of the population.

A short fact salvo on Co2 for sharing with people who think they should still believe when mass media and politicians say that the science on Earth’s climate is settled.

The idea that human activity can significantly increase the percentage of the "greenhouse" gas CO2 in the atmosphere is un-scientific, because the atmosphere is a "closed" system. Which simply means that the more CO2 in it, the more plant-life there will be. For this reason greenhouse growers add CO2 to their greenhouses. The more plant-life you have the more CO2 is "consumed" by the plants and converted into oxygen.

The system always balances out.
